My name is Christer Heljestrand and I have been living in Seville, Spain since 1999.
We travel a lot in Spain and Portugal and of course know these countries “inside and out” by now.

Since 1999, we (my wife Eva and I) have helped family, friends and acquaintances find good holiday accommodation in Spain and Portugal.

Now we want to help you find the best accommodation, rental car and the most fun activities so that you can relax and enjoy your well-deserved holiday!!

The Internet has opened up fantastic opportunities when it comes to booking holidays, accommodation, rental cars and activities. But unfortunately, it is also easy to get scammed online.There are many who charge and then just disappear.

Or you arrive at your destination and discover that the house or apartment does not even exist.Or the accommodation does not match what you booked at all.

Hotels are safer, but nowadays many people want more freedom and live just like the locals—by renting a house or apartment. No breakfast schedule to think about, and the possibility of cooking your own food and so on.

There are many advantages to having your own accommodation in a house or apartment instead of a hotel room.

The 3 most common scams

There are mainly three ways that you can be scammed:

You rent an accommodation that looks great in the picture, but when you arrive, both the location and the accommodation are terrible. Dirty, worn out and ugly. You have paid money for rubbish.
You arrive at the holiday resort and discover that the accommodation does not exist. You have lost your money and are left without accommodation.

You pay a deposit—or in the worst case, the entire amount—and then the person disappears. You lose all your money and have not even left.

Avoid being scammed

In all three cases, our holiday turns into a nightmare and we will forever associate the country/resort with these problems.
